Digital Signature FAQ

Answers to common questions about pdf signature invalid, docusign certificate error, adobe sign issues and our Zoom sessions

After booking, you receive a Zoom link. You join the call and share your screen with the consultant. Every observation and remediation step is explained as it happens, and you stay in control of your machine throughout.

DocuSign, Adobe Sign, Adobe Acrobat PDF signing, Windows certificate / smart-card stack, macOS Keychain and CryptoTokenKit, SafeNet / Thales eToken, IDPrime, ePass, and standard PKI / PKCS#11 deployments on Windows 10/11 and macOS Sonoma / Sequoia.

Consulting engagements are scoped. If root-cause analysis reveals the issue requires CA-side action, an internal IT change, or a vendor escalation, you receive a written report identifying the next responsible party and the engagement is treated as a diagnostic deliverable.

No. The consultant explains observations and remediation steps in plain English as the session progresses.

Yes. Our consultants work across Windows 10/11 and macOS Sonoma / Sequoia — including Keychain Access, CryptoTokenKit, SmartCard pairing, Acrobat trust on macOS, and Safari signing flows.

Most single-issue diagnostics conclude in 25–35 minutes. Multi-layer cases (token + middleware + application + browser) typically take 45–60 minutes.

Submit the intake form anytime. A consultant will respond the next business morning with a calendar link.

We do not issue certificates. We can walk through renewal with your existing certificate authority and verify the new credential installs and validates correctly during the consulting session.

PDF signature invalid usually maps to one of three independent failures: the signing CA is not on Adobe's Approved Trust List (AATL), the timestamp / revocation infrastructure cannot be reached from your network, or the document was modified after signing. The diagnostic isolates which one applies.

DocuSign token not recognised usually maps to the certificate being installed under Local Machine instead of Current User (Windows), the browser extension being disabled or blocked by a tenant policy, or the vendor middleware not loading the token's PKCS#11 module.

Smart card not detected on Windows 10 / 11 is most often a Smart Card service set to Manual after a feature update, a vendor middleware regression, or an underpowered USB hub. The Windows 11 diagnostic guide in our blog walks each layer.
